I havent been able to spot thinking about the smarts that were shared with us by “A Photo Editor” Rob Haggert on his Blog: .
“What’s the promo volume like at the agency? It must be twice that of editorial. 100’s a week?
100 a week? 100 a day!
100 a day! what do you do with all of them?
Throw them out. If I like the work, and the link is on the promo, I’ll bookmark the site…but I don’t keep anything.”

Iraqi Fashion Anew
March 19, 2008 · Leave a Comment
CNN is running a video about Fashion Models and the one and only design house in Iraq and the difficulties it faces. It makes me both happy and sad to see this, as I know somewhere this is grandstanding propaganda for our 5 year anniversary. They do however mention that under Sadaam Fashion had flourished…
The Video is here at CNN:: from edition.cnn.com posted with vodpod

Ford Models + TV

Following Inc. Magazines Cover Story on Ford’s move onto YouTube, The Business of Fashion’s Imran Amed covors them from a Media perspective and lauds their move to content producer.
The jury of your peers still has to weigh in and see if this high profile move can be monetized and whether Ford retains credibility as a Model Agency at the same time.
This is a story in which I will enjoy the front row!
Good Luck John

Well Educated & Sharing with Us

I cant quite get over the wealth of information sometimes in our industry. We here at the nerdy software company love the knowledge!
Bloggingreally turns out a cooperative nature in our industries experts:
I am so impressed with the folks that are making it happen:
- MODELS.COM :: The Classic, more complete, more credible, & more informational by the moment
- THE IMAGIST.COM :: Wow! The feel Art and Fashion seeping out of my computer (I realize the dorky implications of saying this)…but incredibly well researched, fair and credible views of Art, Fashion, Creative Direction, Music. This is what we call living and breathing taste and style.
- A Visual Society :: So smooth and readable, pretty prose reflects the taste of a great and smart anonymous agent
– Creative Review :: From the UK, tasteful and comprehensive, brings its readers Art, History, and Style letting us remember why Creative Images work on our subconcious mind in the first place
– A Photo Editor :: … willing to structure and show you the nuts and bolts of what he does. A big thanks for this
Lets leave it at that for the moment, there are so many more that are taste makers at the moment.
